Here's to Many More Years of Service for Our Community!

 40th Anniversary Poem - by President Jeanette Y Martin

As we gather together in a very special way.
Forty years of service, forty years of care,
Forty years of lifting others higher through the work we share.
From dreams turned into action,
From challenges met with grace,
We've helped women and girls discover
Their strength, their voice, their place.
We've built friendships that endure,
Created hope where it was needed most,
And through every project, fundraiser, and event,
It's our members we proudly toast.
Today, we celebrate our history,
The remarkable women who led the way,
Whose vision, dedication, and generosity
Still inspire us today.
As we mark this milestone anniversary,
We do so with gratitude and pride,
Honouring those who came before us
And the members standing here beside us.
Let us celebrate our past,
While embracing all that's yet to be,
For the next chapter of Soroptimist International of the Langleys
Will be written by all of us collectively.
Here's to forty years of impact,
Friendship, service, and community too
And here's to the future before us,
Filled with possibility, purpose, and renewed.
Thank you for being here today, and welcome to our 40th Anniversary celebration.
We wish to say thank you to everyone who attended today, your presence was truly a gift.
