Our Mission

At Silangleys, our mission is to improve the lives of those in need by providing essential services and support to our communities. We believe that everyone deserves access to basic necessities such as food, shelter, and healthcare.

Soroptimists Help Make Christmas Brighter for Local Seniors

For Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2, members of the Soroptimist International of the Langleys got together to ensure a brighter Christmas for five senior women.  Partnered with the Langley Seniors Resources Society (LASRS), the “Santa for Seniors” initiative put together gifts based on a wish list from the five, provided by LSRS Community Manager Wendy Pylman Rachwalski.

Cookies and ear savers gifted to Langley heroes

 Diana Wilk, principal of Douglas Park Community School said they have had been able to do this with some generous donations from our school staff, the Langley Soroptimists and The Douglas Park School Society to purchase the filament to produce the ear savers.
